Diamond

Diamond

A Poem by Carla

Pressure makes a diamond.
Love destroys a heart.
What creates a woman, is everything that tears her apart.
No one can ever predict their future and no one could ever forget their past.
A lot may be hard to accept, but it gets easier knowing forever doesn't last.
Every chapter and every book has an end.
Life is life and its yours to edit, it's yours to erase and it yours to pretend.
But you have no control over time.
You have no control of what is what and what's on another person mind.
Pressure makes a diamond.
And to have that perfect shine, it doesn't take overnight.
That's how it feels to be a woman.
Because it takes a life time.
