Yellow blurred

Yellow blurred

A Poem by Mjay55

The rain softly kisses her cheek
from outside her car,

she closes her eyes tightly.

Let the rain be absorbed by her skin.
Allow it to slowly drown her heart.

Her fingers harshly clench the steering wheel,

her heart is pounding like a fist to a punching bag.

Let the yellow lines be blurred,
please don't let this depression be eternal.

Now submerged she feels the freedom death
offers and the promise of expectations lost.

Thank you for this poignant scene, quite delicately absorbing
Helps one to stop and consider the consequences of feeling deeply depressed
This is quite an exceptional psychological insight
I captured the entire scene
Fortunately without feeling the depth of the agony

Scenes like this - when shared, I hope raise awareness, and remind us to remain compassionate
Very well done

Very visceral and raw. I like the strong feelings and the palpable sense of loss most of all. Well done. Thank you again for sharing.
