The Flower and the Gardener

props to Kels for the concept. It's just us declaring out expectations of a guy :) We both agreed we have real high standards and that we refuse to lower the bar!

I expect to stretch to the sky,

to be pampered, and watered with two truths and no lies.

i demand the most fertile ground,

and the best nourishment til my confidence is found.

i require that the seeds you sew,

will lend me support, no matter how tall i grow.

it's your job to keep up my smiles,

keep my petals red, and adhere to my sense of style.

stay strong, and wipe away my tears,

fight off those boneless dogs, and help me face my fears.

Show me no less, i'll give you more,

i'll hold your hand as you open for me every door.

just TRY to hurt me, then you'll see;

your dead, withering flower, with all your hopes and dreams.
