Rapunzel Revisited

The picket fence

became a close boarded

facade

which was then adorned

with razor wire;

anti-climb paint

applied.

And despite my agility,

even I could not

hope to scale

your lofty perch.

To breach the bastions

that you have constructed

to repel all comers.

This fortress

is impregnable,

unassailable,

the princess unobtainable,

yet the mistress of the house

still lets her hair down

from time to time

in this Grimm tale

Well, have a long and complicated story and started it as an autobiography on Bebo but got writer's block/memory fogging. People liked it though and kept asking for the next chapter! fools.. more..
