Vampire

     A smile crossed my face as I gazed at the boy. I saw an emotion in his eyes, one that was

vaguely familiar. One that I had seen many times in my lifetime. Fear.
     I took a step forward and he took a step back, hands trembling. Even I could see that he

was completely terrified. I threw my head back and laughed a cold hard laugh. He turned and

ran.
     Giving him a minutes head start, I ran after him. In a series of seconds he was in my view.

I leaped for him as he glanced behind himself, horror on his face. He fell to the ground, my knees settled on his back. I lent forward, towards the pulse running along his neck.

"STOP!" he screamed, his eyes starting to water. 

"Stop." he repeated, this time, softly.

I smile crept on to my face.

"Why should I? Don't you know I only used you? Only kept you close to me for this moment? You mean nothing to me." I chuckled harshly, leaning farther down.

"But I don't feel the same way. Claire. I love you and you know it." he whispered, water leaking over his eyes. 

I sighed, yet I still smiling.

"Oh well." I replied, so close to his vain now, I could fell heat radiating off of his skin.

I opened my mouth, teeth hanging lethally towards his neck. I closed the tiny distance and bit into his flesh. A hot liquid spilling out. My tongue found the warm substance and lapped it up, quenching the burning in the back of my throat. It was pure bliss.

When met with vampires you have only two choices, run for Van Helsing or the closest werewolf clan, I think it's great. Creepy, but great.
