A Heart Tore into Angel Wings, Spoken Word to Mesmerize

A Heart Tore into Angel Wings, Spoken Word to Mesmerize

A Poem by Pryde Foltz
"

Letting go of those who have passed from the material is not always easy, especially when it is young love you must also let go. A Heart Tore into Angel Wings is a dream-telling.

love the use of the oxymoron in this...we love while we can...but even when they have angel's wings...the memories will never fly away...

Thank you, Jacob. Yes we are lucky that way and they get all the more beautiful:)
Its funny really, life isn't really about how you feel but how you survive! A sad touching write. Felt like an epitaph.

Sigh, this rendered me still...a moment of recollection and so heartfelt in its tone, this will linger a while in my mind :)

your title and that line in your poem is super creative ...it says so much all by itself .. your soothing voice belies the difficulty letting go of a loved one ...well done ..i am left without the resolution i want ...it is just not enough ... well done ...super emotive for me

Thank you, Ron:)
Speaks to me about our longing for love; sex and companionship. That longing can be so very real and overpowering and this poem speaks to the risk, the reward, and dealing. Very nice. Your face is very camera friendly and your voice is soothing, full of femine power with just a hint of playful teasing. I could see you as the femine lead in a major picture. :)

Thank you, Mark. Longing perhaps for what can no longer be. Thank you for all your kind words:):):)
"Your heart tore into angel wings, still you couldn't fly"- this is the case with many people, not only in their love lives but also in other fields of life. They do everything, they lose everything, but they gain nothing. I love these lines too- "harboured in my heart, sheltered in your soul". They express selfless love- well, it is not love if it is not selfless, isn't it? This poem is really deep. Excellently written. Keep writing.

Thank you, Thomas. This one did lay it out there, didn't it:):):)
Inspired by Pryde (An Angel's Torn Wings)

On a long step among a hundred mile tundra
I found you by miracle alone
the melting to my long journey home
In more than heart or soul can say
I wondered inside you as the freeze drifted away
To hear your cajoled grin laugh upon my cold skin
I sank upon a pillowed cloud and drifted away
from all put your sound.
