Breaking through the shadows

She sits alone in the back of the room
Surrounded by all her peers
She sits and thinks of her own doom
As she wipes from her checks, solemn tears
her sadness wraps her like a tomb
As she is confronted with all her fears
Everyday shes trapped in this gloom
And lies sting her ears
Her cries are lost under the thunders loud boom
As her death gradually nears

you can feel the loneliness and sadness coming off of this piece and it's probably one of the darkest of yours that I've read with the ending the way that it is. It's emotionally raw and the song that comes to mind when I read this is brick in the wall. Nicely written.
