I love the oceans

The Dance of the Sea

I dive in

Gliding through the cool water

I lean into the wave

And it pushes me upright onto my feet

I dive through the cresting wave

And it crashes above my head

Coming up for air

I jump

And float weightlessly

For a few precious seconds

I move with the currents

Drifting

I dive towards shore

My hands slicing through

Creating ripples

Until I am a straight line

Riding the white horses

With the salty spray surrounding me

I dance the dance of the sea

you have a good poem here well written
i enjoyed the floating over the waves
just as if i was going into the time there spent all by oneself
drifting lost in a thought
while watching the sky above move as the waves carry me back to shore
what a awesome feeling, feeling being carried back and must go back
to it all

What a lovely poem...Its wonderful, its full of life. The flow is amazing and the language that is used, seems to create a lovely description of the sea and the relationship that the driver and the sea has together, and the feelings towards the sea. It seems almost spirtual in the fact that it doesn't talk about todays world and leaves the feeling that this could be set at anytime. It gives on the view that the sea is calm and peaceful. Truely amazing.
