Writers Karma

A Story by Briana O'Connor
"

Cruel Plagiarism Prose Challenge

"

Such lack of respect,

Those dejected imbeciles,

Thriving on leeching the talent

From hard working souls.

The worthless at heart,

They scream insecurity,

No humility,

No integrity,

Not a fiber of good walks with them.

They smile at applause

On another man's work,

Cheesing as credit

Is bestowed in their name.

Ah, but that Karma,

It will catch them one day.

The writers,

we’re lurking,

waiting for a mistake.

I think we know where this one finds its target, I believe in karma too but it can be good to strike back in the way we know best, this issue of late has lost me 2 friends on here not even involved in events just tired of it all, this poem is a good hard slap at plagiarism and is an excellent piece of poetry, well done Briana :)

Great poem in regards to plagiarism. Does this by any chance have anything to do with the recent WC drama resulting from one fellow posting the work of several others as though it were his own?

That guy really is an a*****e and has been for a long time.
That nasty-a*s "P" word is alive and well wherever there are poetry sites to plunder. How can a person enjoy the accolades by posting another poet's words is beyond my grasp.

A fitting poem for current events on this site. We put our hearts and souls into our pieces...

Well done. Though, personally, I would have liked a more explicit cruelty or more damning conviction.

I've discovered the plagiarist of late on other sites under a different name. As far as he goes, I think it goes deeper than anyone even knows. I agree with the others, excellent piece of poetry.
