Blank Pages

If life is a story,

Then death isn’t a new beginning.

Death isn’t another adventure,

Death is the blank pages

That adore the end of a book.

Unimportant to those reading.

Filling with nothing but one everlasting color.

Those blank pages,

Unseen and forgotten.

Nobody cares for those empty pages,

Closing the book without a second glance.

Life matters,

But not those blank pages.

For life is at its end,

And the story unchangeable
