RAIN OF LOVE AND REALISATION

Die now, cremated and be thrown in to Ganges

May the intensity of my love vaporise the whole river

Come back to the heaven and form a cloud

And shower on me the Chatak, who sits on the dried branch.

 

Be the rain that washes all fabrications

Be the rain that removes the dirt from spectacle.

Be the rain that brings lovers under same umbrella

Be the rain that satisfies the thirst of the earth

 

Be the rain with thunder that wake all

Be the rain that brings new life

Come let's form the rainbow

Come let's make the children happy

Come lets die from realities and live in the innocent dreams.

I really love this unusually expressed poem of death. The story is well-told, with the ashes thrown into the Ganges & the river vaporizing (so imaginative!) & then having the rain come down. This is amazingly creative & then your message goes on to describe how this rain is like being together again, possibly only in imagination, where the rain serves many of the same purposes as the missing beloved person used to do. Excellent details & transitions from death to rain to sunshine again.

I liked this. It flowed beautifully and explored the nature of rain in literature and nature. It would have been cool to read more of it, but I like it as it stands.
