The Earth is on Fire

The Earth is on Fire

A Poem by Bonnie Paige
"

"
Youthful eyes of freedoms call - look beyond the universal will.
The earth today is breaking; the earth today is drowning, today...

                                              The earth is on fire.

Cry women of mother earth your children are reaching out for your arms of passion.
For God above is counting the tears of your sorrows.  It is clear, it is vast, it is loud, the earth is
screaming - transform - the earth is screaming - revolutionize- the earth is screaming amend!
today I saw the red, today I saw the yellow, today I felt the heat, today I saw...

                                               The earth is on fire.

Some will look toward the East, and say all is well, some will look toward the West and see a change,
some will look toward the South and see nothing at all, and some will look toward the Northern sky
and say the end is here.
I say, open wide your youthful eyes to your shaky future.  Make our heavenly father hear your
call.  Pray your weekly morning prayers, and fight your battles of life; against the failing earthly leaders,
against the angry rising seas, against the shaking earth's layers.

This is your bad times, this is your good times.  These are your sad days, and these are your happy days.
These are the times all will make as a place in their hearts.  You are the givers of the future.
Make a place in the universe that says; "we are coming, we are here, a change is our sons and daughters
they are the givers of the future."

As the shadows of this day fall on our earth, the words of the universe should echo loudly.
Time is now, refuse to live suppressed, refuse to live in silence while...

                                                 The earth is on Fire.
