Coffee, Graduation, and New Beginnings

Living in the moment.

Drip. Drip. Drip.

The coffee has begun.

Caps and tassels in the air,

New beginnings have begun.

From teen to adult

from old car to new.

Changes are coming

as I listen to the sound [humming].

The life in Kentucky,

Quiet and altruistic 

so it seems the area is.

Though for some, it is boring

the company of this sea of trees.

The chills in the winter

the cold of the night.

Something is brewing

about to take flight.

Changes await

only those that leap --

Changes await

Will you be asleep?

Drip. Drip. Drip.

The Coffee has begun.

For in this short moment,

the new sparks of life

have only just begun.
