One thing that you ought to know
Yes, one more thing before I go.
I hate you, yes I said it,
and I thought I should tell you that it is so.

I never saw myself with those words
Hung over me, flittering like birds
I hate you, yes I said it,
and I thought I should tell you that it is so

You were the first to stop caring
Though I the first to be more daring
I hate you, yes I said it,
but, oh, how I still love you so!
