Moon Shades

It can never be dark enough

When trying to truly understand

What is right before your eyes,

For you can only learn your path

When you can only feel

The obstacles before you.

 

Night time is the right time

To close your eyes to the past

And when sunglasses at midnight

Become x-ray glasses to the future.

This gave me shivers. I was just thinking about all the obstacles I have had thrown at me.
Understanding what stands in your way or holds you down is so important. Sometimes you can't see it and need an extra set of eyes from a friend. But understanding leads to overcoming. I really like this one.
