Unjustifiable Justice

 Folly; disbelief in a belief 

Castigating "non-believers;" sanctioned no heavenly seat 

A golden throne of sanguine blood; is there no option of peace? 

Coercion to reform; death in the name of a greater good 

But what good can equate so much bad? 

What glorious serenity justifies so much hate? 

Repulsive distaste; breeding, spreading like wildfire 

Do none tire? Of this irrepressible corruption? 

Exalting one perception; shunning its twin reflection with hushed contempt 

Primitive brutes of evolution; regressed to immoral barbarians 

Willed by morality glazed over with hesitance; an impudent facade 

Wanton hope diminished away -replaced by insolent savagery 

Capricious wielding of supremacy; cursing the Crown we uphold

No resorts left; no untimely, subtle fixes; reform is vital

For the pillars of society tremble under the weight of change; an unjustifiable justice

Wow. I thought this was a well-written lament on how society has come to petty squabblings about beliefs, and has turned on itself to rend all differences to shreds. How can we continue with our own ideas of peace and justice when we consistently oppress others?
