Destroying Angels

Destroying Angels

A Poem by SLOVA
"

Between genuine and false love.

"
Love like angels destroying themselves
We take our heedings and bury them deep
Watch your hands, how they move, how they touch
Does your heart still tremble when they don't move at all?

Only old tastes are bitter and strong
We take our drinks the same way we take our grief
Feel your prison scream and pull its chains
Does your pride stay still and high while you wait?

I liked this poem. You said a lot in so few words.
"Only old tastes are bitter and strong
We take our drinks the same way we take our grief "
Love is a hard subject. Sometime little love is better than none. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
