Moments in silence

Moments in silence

A Poem by Jason

Air breathes from silent corners
As the night sky moves
The stars heard in her words
Reflect radiance from the moon

The calm and serene ocean
Greets with tidings from the shore
Scattered shadows from the clouds
As the waves look like velour

Many summers before
We met the colors of our eyes
No words need to be spoken
Only sounds from our sighs

A still night upon us
As if time has ceased
One last moment to hold
As I scatter the ashes of my deceased

You made a very intense, and personal experience, accessible to the reader.

I hope you post this to my group, "The Sun and the Moon and the Stars"

aww how touching, how sad. the line about your "sigh" was so poignant... and then the ending just hits ya right where it counts

"The stars heard in her wordsReflect radiance from the moon"

great line there
great job

How melancholic in the end but melodious throughout. There is nothing like the look of one to another in knowing without words being spoken - you have certainly captured that essence. Well done. Thank you.
