Kraken's Exhale

Kraken's Exhale

A Poem by Frieda P
"

Rather imperative, man's peace & kindness should be foremost on the agenda ~ I'm sure this will be ill-receive'd by some but there are always two sides to a coin.

"
Halted in religious rhetoric
reap'd deeply in dragon's breath
slay'd in kraken's exhaled disavowed beliefs
saintly passages hand'd down as gospel
mind control with no concrete sustenance
man's kindness rather'd of utmost accountable relevance
bloody sin at the hands of church goers' merciless chants
after hours en masse when they slaughter one another

You know that I would love this Frieda... I will only add there is no scientific proof of a superstitious god or gods or "Universe"; but there is plenty of proof that man invented such stupidity.. and this has done great harm in the world for way too long a time... a courageous "Kraken" write Frieda.

Indeed, I concur, blind stupidity. Thanks so much Curt.

Really made me think, Frieda. The message is deep and intellectually stimulating.

Grazie mille Poppy, much appreciate your words. xo
Loved this one, really paints quite a pictur and sheds light on the hipocracy of some if not all of the church- going public.

Thanks Inda, nice to see you back here again.
Love the kraken...that is a great line, I can hear it now. I read this poem and could only think of the Crusades. Do you know there was actually a Children's Crusade? Good God too bad we're not.

Thanks Anne, no I didn't but leave it to the Catholic Church....
Insights humans who can only see the surface plane of this existence and not into the spiritual world it was built from. Man is a natural enemy of God.

Thanks mojo, always appreciate your thoughts.
True facts. People need to be kind, compassionate to each other. The second to last line is the very great.

Thanks muchly Chaz.
ah this made me chuckle. I truly struggle with "kindness" because so many people are full of bovine excrement and in need of a good trouncing. I usually reserve my fangs for my sheepy breathren (mutton.....nom nom nom) because of this very thing here. We are supposed to love people. All of 'em. No exceptions and unfortunately - God's kids get that twisted and try to do HIS job. So - head nod to you. And thank you - I often suffer from craniorectal inversion - and your words - remind me to reposition my dome.
