Wonder

Wonder

A Poem by Maura Ansley

I sometimes look at the wind
and wonder
if it is laughing at us.
Our foolishness
our emotions
Sometimes I wonder
if the wind is crying for us
unable to truly recognize beauty,
stuck in all these stereotypes
and bombarded with lies
and manipulation
Unable to accept who we are
Sometimes I wonder
what it would be like
to melt into the wind
and dissapear

I really like this. By using something so simple and invisible as the wind you really bring across a mystical third person view on humans as a whole. I loved the ending also. It feels so peaceful.

Keep Dreaming ^^
