A Useless Confession

Doing something out of duty.
Doing disconnected from its doer
Like honey that sits in a jar,
Thick with expectation,
Sweet with lies.

Its vomited from nature,
And slips onto the hungry tongue.
Radiated to a single cause
We all lose our true light.
It's pulled in, contained and seems to escape us all.

I will be brutally honest it gets enigmatic at the second have for me because of the broad statement that we all lose our true light. Unless the point your making is we all do eventually if we continue done a road of choosing to do evil or negative things, I would then agree with the fore mentioned statement.

What if I told you the theme was about when people lie because if they told the truth they would start crying and don't think they could stop. When people act tough so that they can get though things in life, not because they want to, because they feel they must. :) Its ok if you don't understand what I'm saying-keep an open mind
