Stardust blinds me and feels sublime

Wishing on Stars
Yinseriv

It is one of those quiet mornings.
My mind is at ease.
My soul is calm.
I sit here in this space living this moment.
Gazing at the moon and stars I feel a pulse beat in and around me.
Nothing insistent.
It isn't a call or an answer.
It just is.
So I start to wish upon stars.
One wish for each star.
Here is a wish.
I wish we all find that one star.
The star we can pin our hopes on.
The star that can guide us through the dead of night.
I wish that our individual fears dim by the light of our star.
I wish that our souls shine brighter and our faces become radiant bathed in this light.
I wish that the dance I perform in this moment will become a glide upon stardust.
I wish my steps would trail stardust all the day long.
I wish that the stardust is transferred to you as our paths cross.
Would we then be star crossed lovers?
But for now I don't feel alone.
I am wishing upon stars.

A wish is but a yearning, a deep desire to come true, and once made - it begins to come to fruition (for the soul will find a way to get it's food). You hold many wishes, yet it seems in the piece - you are laid back and non-commital, enjoying just the moment - the here and now... good write.

It was going good until we became lovers and you started passing me drugs(stardust)....lol. Peaceful and tranquil, I wish I had that kind of compassion. I can see me sitting and for a moment I am in my quiet place.

Wow, it's great.
The imagery carries the reader there :). I like the last three verses, especially the one with the star-crossed lovers.

I LOVE wishing, and to do it on stars, well....you've captured a beautiful moment of solitude. I love the fluid motion of this piece. It's almost surreal. Quite lovely!

This is beautifully serene, my friend. Not once do you overstep the boundaries of meditative cognizance, or burst the proverbial bubbles of tranquility. Outstanding write!

This piece took my mind to peaceful places. It is a very solid piece and it was a joy to read. Very tranquil yet subtly mind bending. A very wonderful poem (:
