The day you left me

The day you left me

A Poem by David Michael II

Tears fall from my face as I watch you walk away.
The darkness flows into my life as my arms stretch out tords you.
I scream out your name hoping you'll hear me some day.
Wishing for you to turn around my way.
As you walk away from me I fall to my knees.
As my heart is over whelmed with all this pain in me.
Memories of you and me flash by me each day.
So please come back my way and feel my heart with light.
Pick me up from the depths from witch I fell.
Erase the darkness that feels my soul.
Help me realize that I am not alone.
Release me from the memory of the day you left me.
