ADONIS

ADONIS

A Poem by Marc Marlon Villaflor
"

The Unwanted Marriage

"

When I spit fire into the realm

The prom orb astounds with flame

Venus kissed  my passionate name

Playing with the fire is the name of the game

Lusting nymphs reached my solid strong swords

Princess imprisons me, as she spells the cursing words.

Now my world closed in complete darkness

The dungeons so deep, where my suffering is boundless

My swords no longer in fire

My armor soaked in the cold mire

As my hands had reached the stone wall

I shouted so loud, hoping somebody heard my call

Interesting imaginary, you managed to show that feeling of breaking free when you're down and feel trapped...great job

Thanks Kelly :) appreciate it much! :)
trapped...and how ironic..to be imprisoned by a princess...

sometimes the chase is better than the catch.

nice imagery here.

Thanks Mr. Jacob I appreciate your review :) thank you.
Always the prize for the deception and recklessness with which Adonis lives. It has to be a cold and lonely end. I know someone like that.

Thanks Marc. This poem had a special meaning to me. Its a marvelous write.
