recovery

recovery

A Poem by marilyn 1225
"

the joy of trying to recover to health body, spirit, and love

"
VANILLA       in diet root beer  does the trick...    the flu loves the liquid filled with aged vanilla   so good going down your body               more satisfying than water..
the flu strips the body   even for a few weeks or  less
so the energy leaves

but yet  on a day   one can reach out and meet a mind, a spirit, an educator, a musician, a lover of literature, a scientist and even a theologian... all on the net
albeit one person, a boy, a loving one with a heart to give to a young young lady
the joy of meeting and knowing there is a living breathing human   who is kind

doubled by many, tripled my more, and finally ten times over... humans marching all around the world
take a gander, talk a bit, and give them a heart hug

I'm sorry you've been sick! I'm lucky I've not had the flu or a cold in many years. But since I'm housebound & disabled, I very much relate to what you're saying about how the web is a whole world to behold, even when life's tough stretches keep you restrained from usual activities. You use good examples to show instead of tell (the best rule of good writing). Stay healthy! (((HUGS))) fondly, Margie

The part I hate is how much longer it takes (now that we're older) to get over the various maladies!
