You and I

This is a poem that I had to write for poetry class at school, with rhyme.

If you and I were two

Would you take me everywhere?

Even if its just a few

You can play with my hair,

and you and me can be forever

people should believe it

but you can be my lever

and I can be your hit

You and I settle in trust

But sit here and lay in the dust
