Stirring Me Slowly

Stirring Me Slowly

A Poem by Monday Parker

I’m starting to float on your words

Your images arrest my thoughts

Wandering

I feel the sparkle of your lips

Of our passion

The heat in our kiss

Flaming

Storming my intelligence with your face

Striking sapphire

Tantalizing

Tempting precision

Shaking my soul

Like limber dogwood leafs

In April breeze

Observe how easy you stir me

In the whirlwind of your shadow

In the elegance of your poetic hands

Of your supple touch

In the glint of your eyes as you gaze over me
