Love is like an abusive person
You defend them for hurting you
"They mean well"
"I had it coming"
Till out of the blue
Love kills you accidentally
There you are left
Dead inside and out

Mustafa my friend, this was an amazing write. You penned your thoughts very well and to some extent I agree with you but its not love that "needs a major overhaul" its the people who abuse it. Love is pure, its our bad experiences of being hurt that can close us off from it sadly. Its people who misuse it for their own selfish ends that causes so much pain in one.

What really lured me in to read this was the title and i like your reason of hating love being heart broken and it happens there's so many reasons why to hate it and you explained it well

Interesting point of view. I think love doesn't discriminate; people do. Losing love doesn't destroy someone's life; people let it. But I do agree with defending it. "I had it coming" or "It was my fault" when it wasn't...This is interesting.
With the meaning aside, I think some more literary devices would make it much better. There are many places to insert a metaphor, simile, or just rearranging the words to make the "word music" such as alliteration. I think now that you got the essence of the story down, you should make it a little more musical because right now, it just stands as a rant of sorts. I find that in much of your writing. There is nothing wrong with ranting, but, after a while, we don’t want to read it. It gets tedious.
So, overall, nice perspective, but really work on making it more reader-friendly.

This is an excellent write in the perspective of poetry.
"Losing love can destroy a person's life" I believe that something can only destroy you if you let. Nothing is good nor bad, but thinking makes it so.
"Love discriminates" Love doesn't discriminate. People do.
I definitely agree with this though; "Love needs a major overhaul"

Brilliant..."Why I hate love"...opposing themes. Real cool...kinda like once you're in love, you develop "Stockholm Syndrome." I really like this write!
