Haiku Rest High On That Mountain

Angels are calling

Go rest high on that mountain

Work on earth is done

 

 

In the promise land

Walk the golden streets above

Christ will light your way

 

 

 

Drink from the fountain

Living waters blessed by God

And child thirst no more

 

 

 

Lion and the lamb

Will now lie down together

All are God’s children

 

 

 

Father God, awaits

Go to heaven a shoutin’

Father and the Son
