Bravest a knight I never knew

 

          Like on a royal steed you entered my life

My heart swooned when you whispered adieu

          A spoken goodbye, but your eyes lingered

                    Burning right into my awakened heart

                    I knew in that moment you’d never depart

 

Everywhere I turned I saw you there

          Surrounding my heart with the love you felt

Take not time my prince I’ll be your beauty fair

          Hear my heart whisper into yours

                    Let our hearts be joined as one

                    You’ll find true love when all is done

 

You whispered, I’m fair of face

          During the evening tide

As we danced with poetry and grace

          Quiet love, my heart is yours

                    Forever and forever and a day

                    True love will always find its way
