This is my first Haiku I think I did it right. I hope you enjoy

Christmas 

Snowflakes falling 

Lots of presents underneath the tree

Nice thoughts within...however you have too many syllables for a haiku..17 is what. Is needed in 5-7-5 format ..rework this and you'll have a haiku..
