Time Gone By

8 months ago I lost my puppy. Just a poem to release some emotions I guess.

My Puppy Princess

Eight months it's been since I last saw you

It's been tough every now and then 

Not seeing your face when I wake up in the morning 

Not being able to tell you to be quiet when you bark too much

I think of you everyday

I miss you just as much  

I talk about as much as I can 

So your memory won't be forgotten

 

I miss petting you 

I miss your little pink stripe down your nose

I miss feeding you treats 

I miss throwing the tennis balls to you 

Eight months doesn't seem like much 

It's longer than  you think 

Just passing my birthday, Christmas and new years too. 

Having to spend them all without you 

Hoping you are having a good time in Doggy heaven

Playing with tennis balls and running 

To laying on the clouds that are the ground
And being able to bark at any sound 

I love you my puppy <3
