The simple things in life make me smile

from the dawn early rays.

To the light morning dew on the grass in the

garden.

Hearing nature come alive for the start

of a brand new day ahead.

Birds chirping and singing in full gusto.

The smell of newly cut grass.

The sun shining in the sky.

And a light breeze on my face.

Holding hands with the one you love

as you go for a gentle summer walk.

Have a chat and a laugh together.

Enjoying each other company.

These are simple pleasures.
