Dunsinane

Dunsinane

A Poem by Scott H.
"

Channeling some Macbeth tonight, I guess

"

“Dunsinane”

Come from Dunsinane, my love,

Come from Dunsinane.

We’ll find an end to toil, to strife,

We’ll find an end to pain.

Come out the castle walls, my love,

Come out across the lea.

We’ll set our spirits to the winds,

We’ll set our spirits free.

We cannot tarry long, my love,

We cannot tarry true.

We must be gone afore daybreak,

We must ‘ere night is through.

There's an army on the march, my love,

There's an army on the wain.

We must be gone or Birnam Wood

Must come to Dunsinane.

One of my favorite Shakespeare plays is Macbeth.

A nicely penned poem with the play as your inspiration.

One question: lea?
