Growing weary

Growing weary

A Poem by sarah

I am growing tired every moment
I feel my weakness growing
I am slipping through the cracks

Sometimes I can feel myself slowly disappearing
Like I am losing control
Nothing I do seems right

I am growing weary
And times seems to have slowed
Everything is going wrong

I see my weakness hurting those I love
So I try to be strong
I try to smile when I only feel like crying

Expressing my feelings only bring pain
Honesty seems to turn into a blame game
Truths seem to make everyone angry

Strength is slowly decreasing
The character I have tried to perfected
Is slowly being demolished

But my pain
My anger
My frustration

Only leads to more pain

So I will continue to pretend
Until there is nothing left of me
Because I know that's exactly what's expected of me

Old people get weary. Young people get mad. I know the feeling of this poem. Sometime we can't make no-one happy and feel frustrated. I like the ending. Better to smile and move on. Why waste energy on useless causes. A excellent poem.

I am slipping through the cracks (yellowish brown)

Sometimes I can feel myself slowly disappearing
Like I am losing control
Nothing I do seems right (olive green)

And times seems to have slowed
Everything is going wrong (yellowish brown)

So I try to be strong

I think the colour isn't matching well, it is a great poem! But the colour will actually distract or should I say get readers think of something else?
Green is a peaceful colour, I dont think it match well with the poem. I think maybe deep blue will be better.
However, I just LOVE your poems!!!

Amazing poem, very powerful. I think whatever color your mood is telling you to use is what should be used. But i have to agree that sometimes the color takes away from the powerfulness of the poem. Great write

A. I think that color distracts readers from the power of the poem
B. This is an absolutely truthful and fabulous poem, and you did an excellent job.
Life can be rough.
But it's worth it.

I feel like that everyday dealing with childish people I mean being in 8th grade you would think the boys would be a little bit more mature. NOPE! Nice poem though beautiful, I think the world stopped caring a long time ago, I guess it's the little things people should learn to be thankful for. Nice job!
