I Guess This Is My Best Guess At A Love Song~

I Guess This Is My Best Guess At A Love Song~

A Poem by NoneOfYourBusiness akaKITTY KUTABAREakaCandyPole

I feel more comfortable dismembering adjectives

between the concept of a sharp noun

and the distended allure of a serrated action verb

when I am required to paraphrase your meaning

and I squirm

and shuffle my suffixes around in my medicine bag

wondering which witch will be the itch

in your side

when, yet again, I don’t have the right answer

and all I am doing

instead of indulging your tests

is dressing you in prefixes

tripping adversity

with adverbs placed just so

just sharp enough

and slick enough

to slip the metaphors into your hipbones

and the similes around your jawbone

clamp that tramp mouth closed

lock in every “f**k”

with the pharmaceuticals

and the unwinding binding wine

slosh

slosh

and lush slush

skin and bones and mush

I guess this is my best guess at a love song

and I think it’s pretty okay

if you know

I was writing it to Language

seducing grammar over peppermint white mocha

rolling calligraphy around inside my cherry cheeks

with sugarcubes

honey sticks

pick up sticks

spelling L O V E on thin jade

lapping lush concepts

from the side of an ivory bowl

a poet with a slip of silk

over a shoulder

coy ploy stenciled into velvet bone

a robe of language

creating its brocade around warm

papyrus

skin

Spelling love on thin jade. Awesome. So how much will you sell this for as it's always about the money, right.

I would say that is a great guess, especially known how love is such a mystery and different in everyone's eyes... This definitely fits your wicked ways and rebellious nature.

I love what Lily said about you being the best lover that language ever had. I love her as well, but i think I am a mere boy toy then the true love that you are to her. This thing that you do dear friend, really is timeless you know. You are scratching your heart beats all over the genes of woman and man.. i think they call this, evolution.. your brain should be studied for its power and creativity, but your soul should always ly free where its always been, just looking up into the sky of existence and speaking for the whole of all that means to laugh, and cry..

You are true wonder.

L this!

You have a language that is your own, but somehow you can convey with sharp detail exactly what you are thinking in that poetic moment. I tend to stay far & away from that 4 letter l word, but I dig your expression. =)

language, exotic, articulate, crafted. language refined into its elements, experimental, carved like marble. as poets it is the language that carries us forward and the building blocks of verbs, adjectives and nouns that we contour as sculptors. loved where you took this :)

Let there be no doubt to your true love Selene , and how you share it among us all . illuminating language from the fires of inspiration , your words are borne to dance upon the imagination , verbal sensuality that pours through mind unveiling the secret whispers of meaning ~

your choice of graphic - superb

don't usually hear a love song with this much "fee, figh, foe, phum" in it.

Your words are always perfectly put together. Language loves you as much as you love language. Incredible composition!
