Dark

When the light cames to play
I push it away
Dark is my friend
Until the very end
He stays with me
Until the day
Comes with light
To take Him away
Now he is gone
But I will not stray
True to the dark I will stay.

Sort of dark but it is quite intriguing. It seems as if the person you are referring to is in a melancholy state and darkness...solitude is what comforts him. Interesting read! Well done!

But it does have meaning too, I suppose.
Some find solace in the dark, others welcome the light.
