The One Who Saves Me From Myself

The One Who Saves Me From Myself

A Poem by Danielle M Regalado

I can’t get over the way your eyes light up

When I walk into your room

The way you smile when I touch you,

Overwhelms me with a warmth I never knew

That is, until I met you.

You found the power to break down my walls

to plant me firmly into place, to nourish me with grace…

Pulsating love manifests, oh that smile on your face.

It embraces me, comforts me and keeps me safe

from these demons that haunt me.

You sir, mean the world to me.

You are my strength.

You are my light,

You bring me hope,

You truly are an angel which I will treasure forever.
