burry me

burry me

A Poem by thoughtsofforgotten
"

feeling hopeless and little is normal

"

We are truly never alive; we just wait for the unavoidable,

convincing sad minds to relax and forget the upcoming end.

Most people die at the age of 25 but are not buried till they’re 75.

You know what Thoughts? I have a poem I wrote that addresses this same subject . Well kinda. Sorta. I'm going to post it after reading this. The self effacing note you and I start with on our first posts are telling. . You know, putting our stuff out there like this is exposes us and that takes courage I think to ask someone to see into our thoughts and feelings but please don't hurt me when you see who I am.
I like what you wrote here. It is simply a thought on paper at first glance. Then I keep rereading it and each reread provokes more reflection. This is poetry. Nice work.

Your words are true in a sense. In my young days. Thirty means you had become a adult and lost the hope of youth. The poem a good reminder. We need dreams and hope to stay young in heart and dreams. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

nicely put together :) life on the fast track makes people age too early.. we are alive when we love and are in harmony within ourselves..
