Fooling around at the movies

This is what happened last night when I was at the movie theater with my friends...

Late at night,

at the movies,

buying tickets,

sneaking in.

 

Getting popcorn,

drinks,

finding our seats.

 

To find the 4 of us,

all alone in the theater.

 

We wait-

still no people after the trailers.

 

We watch the movie silently for a few minutes.

 

Until my friend wants me to get some salt,

for her popcorn.

 

I shake some on,

putting on way to much.

 

When I return,

I'm nearly killed cuz of all the salt.

 

We comment on the movie.

 

Then my friends throw the popcorn.

 

They start spitting on the chairs,

running around,

screaming.

 

I'm trying to be quiet,

with another friend.

 

So this goes on til the end of the movie.

 

We're silent,

then once it ends,

we ask for free popcorn,

and throw and unattended bag into this game thing.

 

We wait outside for our ride,

and the manager gives us all dirty looks.

 

I'm not going back for awhile...

 

 

Author's Note

This really happened, it was really only one of my friends who did it, and they almost got us all kicked out.

this reads more like a story or blog than a poem, but it reminds me of when I was younger messing around in the cinema and starting popcorn fights :p

I don't really get what's going on here; a better description might be helpful. It also seems like it should be a story instead of poem.
