at my public library

 

My card I’m sure to renew

For always there’s something new

 

Today I moved this old book

Man, you should’ve seen my look

 

I took the old book from the shelve

Surprised, I couldn’t believe my self

 

Ello, ello, what’s she doing here?

She should be far away down there

 

Across the hall I saw Crosland

So I smiled and waved my hand
