I have a question, umm what do you call this sort of poetry? I know each stanza is a haiku but what do you call this in whole? Anyways, awesome poem

Well for lack of a better name a series. Rather than debate the merits or not and weather it is a Haiku or Senryu, I usually don't even say which. Less conflict with perfectionist.

From what I have read of the style, it often had different people doing a stanza that is added to the work. But like I said, I read it and not sure how much truth in it.

Happy New Years Lydi, I have never really made resolutions. I am a rather logical thinker (in my own mind), and I am a professional procrastinator and knew it was a waste of my time.

And yes it does remove a disappointment and right at the beginning of a perfectly good year.

Seemed you be on #2016Resolutions. Sounds interesting. I reading many posts now-a-days & most of 'em are on .. 'bout "Resolutions". It's good makin' resolutions, but what more intriguing in that is "Accomplishing" 'em all with faith, which's harder doin'. Very deep and evocative poetry you've come up with. The failure and true humanity of man causes this failure each year as we are not the superhuman that can control our thoughts and expectations. But maybe accepting our failure is also super human. Thank you for your review and thoughts.

Those resolutions are made to be broken, which is why i'm giving up smoking, ggoing on a diet and getting fitter I'm also starting a new job, so hopefully I won't have broken them all by then. :)
