I am a beautifully broken poet.
I wonder why the world has so much hate in it.
I hear my heart beat loud as I look at what’s to come in my life.
I see the words from my heart flow out and onto a page.
I want to become a writer.

I pretend to be fine, when my world is crumbling around me.
I feel the touch of a lost loved one on my heart.
I touch the hearts of many with the words I write.
I worry that one day I wont be good enough to make it in the world.
I cry at the thought that I might lose everything I have worked so hard to get with just one mistake.
I am a beautifully broken poet.

I understand that everything in this world happens for a reason.
I say that if you cant fix something, your not trying hard enough.
I dream that one day I will be able to touch a star in the sky.
I try to be the best girl I can be.
I hope that one day I can change the world.
