About Me

I enjoy reading and writing, computer games and movies. I am a fan of the comic/graphic novel genre, along with the sci-fi/fantasy, action/adventure and comedy genres.

Favourite band: Queen
Favourite movie: The Rock
Favourite authors: Robin Hobb, Terry Goodkind, Lynn Flewelling
Favourite Poets/Poems: A.B. Paterson (Lost), Rudyard Kipling (If), Samuel Taylor Coleridge (To Nature), Robert Frost (The Road Not Taken), Sir Walter Raleigh (Epitaph), Simon Armitage (You're Beautiful)
Favourite writing quotes:
"You need not expect to get your book right the first time. Go to work and revamp or rewrite it. God only exhibits his thunder and lightning at intervals, and so they always command attention. These are God's adjectives. You thunder and lightning too much; the reader ceases to get under the bed, by and by."
- Mark Twain in a letter to Orion Clemens, 3/23/1878

But I, being poor, have only my dreams.
I have spread my dreams at your feet.
Tread softly, for you treadon my dreams.
- Edgar Allen Poe, "The Cloths of Heaven"

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I know you not it, but it's not my intention to boast. When I write things, I usually don't have any empathy or sympathy. >.<; Though I don't know how to change it, and even though I know what you're getting at - thanks for the comment regardless.
