I've been commenting on someone's drawings for a couple of months and she asked if I was a published poet. It made me laugh because I'd left school at 13 years old and never completed formal education. When I mentioned this she suggested that I should write anyway. I was intrigued by the very thought. Last week I wrote and it seems as if I've written something every day since.
I always thought poetry was supposed to rhyme, but having done a search on Google I discovered its not necessary.
