I am 28 years old and have been writing as long as I can remember. So far I've only had one poem (a sonnet) published in some coffee book table when I was in high school. I am a lazy procrastinator with a vivid imagination. I admire writers who can describe exactly what they are trying to describe without overdoing it. If you can describe an emotion in a sentence that you described in a paragraph, why not use the sentence instead? I don't always achieve this in my own writing, and tend to go in circles sometimes, but that's okay. I forgive me.
