I've been writing what I like to think of as 'proper' short stories since I was 13; before this my writing had been filling primary school exercise books with woefully written tales of two secret agents code named H20 and C02. I was a pretentious ten year old. I'm now seeking my first paid publication, submitting to a variety of small magazines and online e-zines. I've been published twice in non paying mediums but all recent submissions have been fruitless, though some have been tantalisingly promising right up until the short list is voted on. Hmm.

My earlier works could quite easily be categorised into either comedy fantasy in an Adams or Pratchett -esque kind of vein, or straight science fiction, albeit of dubious scientific content. Nowadays, however, my more recent works have, I believe, stepped out of conventional genres and I'm having trouble categorising them. We shall see.
