Naga Uta is 5/7/5/7 throughout as long as you want to make it, and then 5/7/7 for the last three lines.

Thanks for the review of "New Vein Old Hope," Annabelle. Naga Uta is a fun form to try if you don't already know it. The words beat on because besides being a poetic form, Naga Uta is also a kind of Japanese drumming technique, so it makes sense that the poems have a beat to them as well.
