About Me

Hmmm, lets see, where should I start?

Well, I am dyslexic, so if you see any errors in my writings please let me know, I miss a lot of those, my dyslexic eyes just can't seem to catch them.

Throughout my life I have been accused of being a dreamer, as if it were something to be shunned and corrected. Why do I go through life with my head in the clouds? To be honest, it's simply the best view. Why walk through life with your head down? Granted, keep your eyes on your feet and you may avoid the mishap of stepping into a mess. But why not look up? You would be amazed at what you can see, not only that, but what can be envisioned and therefore quickened and birthed into reality. What if no one ever looked up, one would miss the rising and setting of the sun, one would miss that rare shooting star where upon dreams come true. There are some opportunities in life that we pass up or overlook because we never got up the nerve to build beyond and above our foundation. There are some who are too frightened to dream, they are scared because to dream means to enter into the unknown, and everyone knows the unknown is scary… unless you enjoy that sort of thing. *grin*

It's a tricky thing, to be able to look beyond the clouds, because one must envision it; dream it. There are times in life where being a dreamer pays off. Sometimes you have to look beyond the everyday to capture the essence of tomorrow and what it may have in store for you. But the fact is this, every inventor that has ever been has been a dreamer, every scientist and physicist that has propelled us into another era of understanding, they too all were dreamers. If it hadn’t been for their dreams, can you even imagine where we would be today? Our knowledge would be even more limited than it already is.

Einstein once said:
"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there will ever be to know and understand."

Some may say that I am an idealist because I choose to dream, and they may be right, but above all I am a thinker. I create and bring to life ideas that would have otherwise been forgotten, and I am not sorry in the slightest. Imagination is the key to unlocking, not only our true potential as humans, but our true potential as thinkers. One does not have to be "in the box" of normality, or even reason for that matter, to be extraordinarily gifted in the art of thought. I bet you thought that all "thought" was just that... thought. Oh, but it's not. It's so much more.

Anyone can sit down and think... it is the process of thinking that matters. Logical thinking is respectable, indeed. But what ground does logic, or rather probability or reasonability, have to stand on without imagination? If logic, probability and reasonability had swayed some of our greatest thinkers, we wouldn't be where we are today.

"The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination."
- Albert Einstein -

So, as I was saying... I am a dreamer. Take it as you will... ;)
