About Me

I am a girl. I am a Believer. I am not extraordinary

I believe in love.

I believe in art.

I believe that written words have the power to make you feel, make you believe, make you think.

They have the power to make you believe the unbelievable.

The fantasy, the fiction, the creation.

The power to make you fall in love with those who do not exist.

The power to think about things that seem impossible.

The power to trade your own world for another.

~
This is my motto and this is what I live by. I'm an actor, musician, artist, teacher, sister, daughter, friend. I live in many worlds, time eras, countries, towns, cities and each and every one one of them is special to me and can even fit on my shelf. I have this strange, constant urge to read medieval, fantasy, fiction, horror based things and I don't think it's very healthy... I love and am thankful for what God has given me and am thankful that I have friends and family who are just as insane as I am.

“The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid.”
― Jane Austen

“Fantasy is escapist, and that is its glory. If a soldier is imprisioned by the enemy, don’t we consider it his duty to escape?…If we value the freedom of mind and soul, if we’re partisans of liberty, then it’s our plain duty to escape, and to take as many people with us as we can!”
― J.R.R. Tolkien

“A single dream is more powerful than a thousand realities.”
― J.R.R. Tolkien

“If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.”
― C.S. Lewis

“Freethinkers are those who are willing to use their minds without prejudice and without fearing to understand things that clash with their own customs, privileges, or beliefs. This state of mind is not common, but it is essential for right thinking…”
― Leo Tolstoy
